At home and unable to roast coffee for the time being, I have gone quite crazy trying to perfect brewing. Today my big deal was the Moka Pot. Quite the clever little invention really. I am following a Stumptown technique of letting the water heat in the water chamber, separate from the ground coffee and upper chamber. As soon as the water begins to become active I put the coffee and upper chamber on without burning my little hands. I back off a bit on heat and let the magic happen. As soon as what Stumptown calls the "puff" is evident I remove the unit from the heat and let it sit only a brief moment. After that it goes in my cup and in my belly. The americanos were sure happening today at the house... Just wait till the shop opens- My blog will only become more lengthy with the coffee discoveries I find out. later, dave

Business requires much patience incase you all were wondering. Cabinets are on a move though and cork flooring has been ordered. It just takes so gosh darn long. Hope everyone is well and sorry this update just isn't so exciting. Hopefully much more to come soon. Love, Dave
